In his second turn behind the camera, director Alan Rickman explores the love story between two talented landscape artists (Winslet and Schoenaerts), who become romantically entangled while building a garden in King Louis XIV’s (Rickman) palace at Versailles. Beautifully shot and wonderfully dressed, this will be right up your street if you enjoyed other recent period films like Suite Française, which was released last month and also starred Schoenaerts.
