Everything you need for your home on your doorstep
A dedication and passion for great design, from country house to cutting-edge contemporary, has ensured that Tunbridge Wells is firmly on the map as the heart of interior design in the South East.
Professional interior designers, together with exclusive kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, furniture, lighting, paints, wallcoverings and surface showrooms make up the 22 prestigious brands showcasing the exceptional breadth and scope of design available in Tunbridge Wells.
This is the inaugural year of Tunbridge Wells Interiors Week. Devised and set-up by Penny Peerless from The AGA Shop and Paula Steels , it evolved as a way of driving up footfall and sales in local Tunbridge Wells showrooms. They were swiftly supported by over 20 other like-minded, forward-thinking design professionals who agree that Tunbridge Wells is a beautiful town, full of exceptional showrooms and deserved recognition and promotion for its design potential.
As Penny explained, ‘Tunbridge Wells has always been a great destination for kitchens, bathrooms and furniture in the South East, with many high-end names in the town.’ Paula agreed adding, ‘our aim is to encourage shoppers to visit Tunbridge Wells more. We want to show that they do not need to travel up to London to achieve the same levels of choice, service and quality.’
The speed in which other showrooms signed up to support the event was a clear indication that they shared the same aims and objectives.
Tunbridge Wells Interiors Week covers 2 miles of central Tunbridge Wells. From Union Square and the Pantiles, through Chapel Place, along the High street, up Mount Pleasant Road, onto Crescent Road, Calverley Road and Camden Road. Several of the showrooms will be offering promotions and discounts during Interiors Week. New collections will be launched, celebrations will take place and canapés and bubbly will be offered.
