Tosetti & Son have a burgeoning reputation for providing friendly, informative and progressive art courses for adults alongside an already popular programme of children’s art workshops.
This winter, Tosetti & Son are offering two opportunities for beginners, those with more experience and professional artists to learn and hone skills. Acclaimed local artist Francisco Centofanti will teach a five-week course in the Sight Size Method. This is a continuation of his previous course, but is also appropriate for complete beginners. Agatha O’Neil, art student at K College, said ‘The Sight Size Method course has been brilliant, I have learnt new skills which have focused my own art practice and helped me develop my work further. I’d definitely recommend it’
New to Tosetti & Son’s programme is a Beginner’s Guide to Watercolour with professional artist and Central St Martins graduate, Cheryl Fuller. With a background in jewellery design and botanical watercolour painting – Cheryl says: ‘The classes will be a great start for beginners wanting to learn about the properties of watercolour. We will practice and use a variety of techniques to produce simple studies and develop individual painting styles.’
The welcoming, well-equipped studio at Tosetti & Son provides a professional working space for artists of all abilities.
