Royal Tunbridge Wells Symphony Orchestra’s 92nd season launches in style with a celebration of Benjamin Britten’s centenary on Sunday October 6.

To mark 100 years since the iconic composer’s birth, the Orchestra will present two of his pieces – the witty Matinees Musicales and his Violin Concerto, performed by the brilliant Callum Smart (pictured). The programme also features Berlioz’s dramatic Symphonie Fantastique.

Conducted by Roderick Dunk, the concert starts at the Assembly Hall at 3pm and tickets cost £13 to £22. To book call 01892 530 613 or visit
