The Kent Sport Paralympic Roadshow visits Royal Tunbridge Wells on Wednesday 22 August between 10am – 4pm.
During the 17 day gap between the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Games and the opening of the London 2012 Paralympic Games, Kent Sport is giving people across the county the chance to try a range of Paralympic sports.
Both Calverley Grounds and Fiveways by the Millennium Clock are venues for the roadshow when it visits Royal Tunbridge Wells. The roadshow bus will be at parked Fiveways and will have lots of information on board about Paralympic sports and local athletes so you know who to look out for during the Games. There will be quizzes to do and other activities for young people. Calverley Grounds is the place to visit to have a go at Paralympic sports including wheelchair fencing and wheelchair tennis.
All the activities are free of charge and everyone is welcome to have a go.
