Festive festival as Tonbridge lights up for Christmas

Tonbridge’s festive lights will be switched on as the highlight of this year’s Christmas Festival, which will be held on the Big Bridge in the High Street on Sunday November 24.

The event starts at 1.45pm and there’ll be four hours of musical entertainment and performances by children from Razzamataz, followed by fireworks set to music over the castle at 6pm. Organised by Tonbridge Rotary Club for the first time, the festival is sponsored by the Medway School of Dancing and Waitrose.

The High Street will be closed from noon to 9pm to allow stalls to be set up for visitors to browse.
