Get on your bike or even Shank’s pony and enjoy a sizzling visit to the Kent County Show on 11, 12, 13 July where you will find Kent based debbie&andrew’s cooking up free samples of their family favourite sausages. Visitors to the stand can try the award winning Perfect Pork and Harrogate 97% Pork sausages.  The Harrogate was one of the first gluten, wheat and dairy free sausages to be made and is available nationwide.  It’s packed full of top quality pork, making it one of the meatiest sausages you will eat.  Delicious and suitable for everyone – even those with the most commonly recognised food sensitivities.

Whatever mode of transport you use to get to the Kent County Show, you’ll need a hearty breakfast before you start! There’s nothing better than debbie&andrew’s Pork, Black Pudding and Apple sausage for giving you the energy to trek around all the stands and show rings. Alternatively, for more of a Mediterranean feel, why not give debbie&andrew’s Sicilian sausage a go. It makes a delicious lunch time snack when served with a leafy salad. Lean pork shoulder, crushed garlic, basil, sun-dried tomatoes and mozzarella all combine to make a sausage that’s perfect for the summer.  You could always try before you buy at the debbie&andrew’s stand?

The Kent County Show Sausage Sandwich. Prep time: 5 minutes. Cooking time: 20 minutes. Serves 6:

  • 6 Crusty bread rolls
  • 2 red onions, peeled and sliced
  • 1 thinly sliced fresh Thai red chilli
  • 1tbsp butter, plus more to spread
  • 1 pack debbie&andrew’s Perfect Pork Sausages
  1. Melt the butter in a small frying pan and cook the onion lightly until beyond golden and almost brown. Remove from the pan and put to one side.
  2. In the same pan, fry the sausages turning regularly until cooked through and browned evenly.
  3. Meanwhile, slice each piece of bun in half (but not all the way through) and butter generously.
  4. Fill each bun with a sausage and a few buttery onions and a sprinkling of sliced red chilli
  5. Serve with salad garnish
