Avoid the crowds and enjoy a relaxing Christmas shopping experience with The Brew House Hotel
The nights are drawing in and December is creeping ever closer. With it, comes a thought that strikes fear into many – Christmas shopping. This year, The Brew House Hotel in Tunbridge Wells is encouraging Kent to do it the easy way, while keeping it local, with its traditional Christmas Fayre on Saturday 24th November.
The Old School House will be bedecked with twinkling decorations and Christmas trees. Children will be able to visit Santa in his grotto, while other visitors can buy mulled wine and mince pies to enjoy by the cosy fire. Kent businesses will be selling a variety of handmade gifts, many of which are not available on the high street.
Melissa Brooker, The Brew House Hotel Function and Events Manager, said: “The atmosphere is always special at our Christmas Fayre and it’s a great way for us to kick off the festive season. We know many people choose to do their Christmas shopping in Tunbridge Wells and it doesn’t need to be a stressful experience – we want to offer an alternative to crowds and queues in the busy high street stores. What could be better than finding the perfect gift, made by a local craftsman, while enjoying mulled wine and mince pies, and giving the children the chance to see Santa?”
The Christmas Fayre takes place between 9.30am-4.30pm and entry is free. There will be a small charge to see Santa. For more information about the hotel, visit www.thebrewhousehotel.net.
