Ballet’s adventures in Wonderland

Ballet’s adventures in Wonderland

Those familiar with Lewis Carroll’s literary menagerie of peculiar characters will love seeing them portrayed in dance. The Royal Ballet presents Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland at the Royal Opera House on Thursday March 28 and the performance will be screened live at two venues in Tunbridge Wells.

Look out for the tap dancing Mad Hatter, a sinuous caterpillar and the terrifying Queen of Hearts. This is a brilliantly imagined show with ingeniously inventive designs and a wealth of theatrical effects.

You can see the screening at the Trinity Theatre www.trinitytheatre.net and at the Tunbridge Wells Odeon cinema www.odeon.co.uk Both performances start at 7.15pm.
