New service for pregnant & breastfeeding mums in Tunbridge Wells

New service for pregnant & breastfeeding mums in Tunbridge Wells

At 10am on Friday 5th October, a new service for pregnant and breastfeeding mums launches at The Camden Centre in Tunbridge Wells.  Baby Café Local is a free service funded by ‘The Big Lottery Fund’ offering mums somewhere welcoming, encouraging and friendly in which to breastfeed their babies without a nappy bin in sight!  Join us for complimentary refreshments whilst enjoying the company of other breastfeeding mums, with access to a library of information and professional breastfeeding support.  Each week an NCT Breastfeeding Counsellor will be available to offer support or answer questions and volunteer mums will be on hand to chat, entertain your older siblings and provide information.
Baby Café Local will run every Friday from 10.00-12.00 from 5th October (except 28th December and Good Friday when the Camden Centre is closed).  We hope that this new service will make a real difference to new mums as well as to those who have been breastfeeding for some time.  If you are just beginning, coming to the end or somewhere in between, you are very welcome to join us to talk about what to do, how to do it and how you are feeling in a non-judgemental environment.  If you are pregnant, come and relax and find out the benefits of breastfeeding your baby from Baby Café Local staff and other mums.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
