As part of the National Heritage Open Day Festival, England’s biggest festival of history and culture, The Assembly Hall is offering a one-off guided tour of both public and back stage areas – the back stage areas are not usually open to members of the public.
Every year over four days in September, thousands of events across the country invite you in to explore local treasures of every age, style and function to see hidden places and try out new experiences.
Tours are at 10am and 11.30am on Thursday 8 September and are free of charge but are not suitable for under-16s. Appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear is advised.
