Eleven predominantly local artists will be exhibiting at No 11 in the Pantiles for two weeks from 18 August – 2 September in Tunbridge Wells.
The pop up shop, 11@11, is going to showcase some of the most respected painters, printmakers, ceramicists and sculptors based in the south-east.
The shop will be open 10am – 5pm daily. There will be late night opening on Thursdays to coincide with jazz.
Pop up shops allow vacant town properties to be used productively. The group conducted a hugely successful similar exercise two years ago at No 9 in the Pantiles which is now occupied.
This year’s event will coincide with the Bank Holiday and the town’s Local & Live festival.
