Tuesday 18th October
Trinity Theatre, Tunbridge Wells
It’s opening night at the Trinity Theatre for Joseph Kesselring’s 1941 play Arsenic and Old Lace.
In 1940s Brooklyn, two sweet old ladies have developed a new hobby – murder! Aunts Abby and Martha revel in killing lonely old men – out of sympathy, of course – and burying their corpses in the cellar. Desperate to cover up his aunts’ eccentricities, nephew Mortimer is forced to thwart the police, conceal a corpse, stop another killing, commit his brother and marry his fiancé! This perfectly crafted comedy will have you rolling in the aisles!
Directed by Helen Thorp, the play is only on for five nights and there is a special offer for opening night only – two tickets for £22.
Ticket Prices: £14
