This weekend, Tenterden High Street will be transformed through the sights, sounds and smells of the Christmas Fayre. Visitors will be spoilt for choice as local shops blend with visiting stalls to deliver a very special retail fusion. Live music, choirs, street entertainment and children’s rides will all add to the weekend’s celebrations. With multiple zones throughout the town each boasting a huge selection of locally produced food and drink, plus arts, crafts and unique gifts, this is one event you don’t want to miss out on this weekend. The fun begins at 9am on Saturday and 10am on Sunday.

Don’t miss the annual festive Christmas Fair at Chiddingstone Castle this Saturday (26th November) from 10am to 4pm. Choose your ideal gifts from over 50 stalls located within some of the Castle’s historic rooms and in the heated marquee. The stalls have been hand picked by castle staff and will be selling unique products that are often not found on the High Street. To add to the seasonal cheer, mulled wine and mince pies will be available, along with tea, coffee, soup, sausage rolls and cakes in the tea room.  Admission is only £4 for adults and £1 for children (aged 5-13). Please park as directed and remember to bring cash and cheques as not all the stallholders will have card machines. 



Find some Christmas gifts with a difference at the vintage & craft market, which is held in Rotherfield Village Hall on Saturday November 26. This wonderful seasonal event will see you soaking up the Christmas spirit with an amazing variety of stall-holders selling bespoke crafts and unique vintage ware. Order your Christmas wreath from a local florist, stock up on cards and decorations, enhance your winter wardrobe with fine knits, add a touch of vintage chic to your home or treat yourself to some beautiful costume jewellery. There’s even the option to take some time out and get comfy in the pop-up café. The fair runs from 10am to 3pm.

Every day until Sunday 4 December, from 10am to 4pm Pashley’s shop will be open for Christmas shopping. If you’re looking for present ideas, or something for yourself or your home, now’s the time to visit.
Gift ideas include of gorgeous handbags, beautiful scarves, luxurious hand creams, divine scented candles, interesting books and decorative kitchenware as well as festive baubles, napkins, wreaths, wrapping paper and much more.
Parking is free, and you’ll even be welcomed with a glass of mulled wine and mince pies.

On Saturday November 26 and Sunday November 27, visit Sissinghurst Castle Garden and experience their festive market. Filled with local suppliers and produce, the market is perfect for Christmas gifts or a treat for you. There will be entertainment throughout the weekend, with mince pies and mulled cider in the restaurant to warm you up too. The market runs from 10.30am to 3.30pm both days.
