Act of remembrance on track with Kent & East Sussex Railway

A service will be held at Tenterden station on Remembrance Sunday (November 10), following which a Kent and East Sussex Railway train formed of vintage stock will make a special journey.

The Terrier locomotive will be pulling a train including the Cavell Van – used to transport the coffins of Nurse Edith Cavell and Captain Charles Fryatt in 1919 and the Unknown Warrior in 1920 – and the Birdcage.
