VERONA – Perfect for Couples
The romantic city of Verona is one of our fi rm top picks for 2017, due to its world famous Summer Opera Festival – it really is music to our ears! It starts in June right through to the end of August every year with a choice of different performances, all of which are located in the beautiful open-air arena – but be quick as the tickets do often sell out
especially during peak times.
The top must see apart from the opera when visiting Verona is the famous Shakespeare Romeo and Juliet balcony (‘Juliet’s House’). Legend also has it, that if a couple leave a written love message here Juliet will bless them with eternal love!
