When was the last time you made time for yourself? How often are you able to honestly say you put yourself first? Taking time out of a hectic schedule can be tricky, especially if you have a demanding job, or a family to look after, or both. But, when two readers told us they wanted a break from their daily routine to try something new, we set about giving them a bit of time out from their regular lives to experience something different, and most importantly, to do something for themselves.
Taking part in this month’s shoot are two readers with busy lives. Kate works in London but also has two young
children, and was looking for some style inspiration to take her out of her comfort zone, while Bianca is training to
be a dental nurse, and wanted to ditch her tunic and try out some of the latest trends to see what suited her.
Working with our fantastic local boutiques and The Chapel, the ladies had a day to remember, and gained lots of
inspiration to take away with them once the camera stopped rolling. From experimenting with vibrant hues in Kate’s hair, to showing Bianca which summer styles will enhance her wardrobe this season, the whole shoot was fun-filled and a chance for both ladies to take a break from the norm. And, from blowing up balloons to hair braiding, they certainly had a day with a difference.
