Gymnasts from Next Dimension Gymnastic Academy (NDGA) in Tunbridge Wells scored a hat-trick of silver medals at the National Qualifiers.
Three members of the Senior Sports Acrobatics Team – Candace Filbrandt (16), Chelsea Borrego O’Callaghan (14) and Olivia Hossenboccus (nine) – shone at the event in Sittingbourne by completing a balance and dynamic routine. It was their first national qualifying competition and they secured second place, missing out on a place at the National Finals by a score of just 0.1.
Head Coach, Holly Freeman, says: “For the team to come so close the first time they have entered a National Qualifier is incredible. They have worked very hard in training and were up against girls who had competed at this level several times before – another great result for NDGA and another proud moment for me!”
