NDGA flourishes on homeground

On Sunday 1 December NDGA’s Acro Squad competed at the South East Regional Championships hosted at NDGA’s purpose built gymnastics academy – the only one in Tunbridge Wells and one of only 3 in the South East.

First to compete were Level 3 Men’s Pair Sam Large and Hector Kinghorn who performed a storm to finish in first place claiming a gold medal, shields and the Regional Champion Title for 2013. Level 3 Women’s Pair Annabel Jack and Emily Arnold competed against 25 other women’s pairs and flew to the top winning their category to also claim a gold medal, shield and the Regional Champion Title for 2013.

A spokesperson for the NDGA said they “wish to congratulate the gymnasts on their hard earned success and we looked forward to seeing them performing at the NDGA Christmas show on Friday 20 December”.

NDGA is now becoming a popular hire venue for gymnastic events, which they will continue to host in the foreseeable future, bringing more visitors to the Tunbridge Wells area and showing off the local gymnastic talents.
