Over 200 guests played a part in raising a huge £101,350 for Demelza when the third Devil’s Kitchen event took over the Goudhurst Inn for an evening.

The brainchild of Claygate’s Mel and Andrew Streek, Devil’s Kitchen events see professional and amateur chefs taking to the stove to create culinary creations, all in the name of charity.

In attendance were TV personalities Ian Hislop and Raj Bisram who turned their hand to waiting tables, while auctioneer Clive Emson led the auction which saw generously donated items such as holidays and artwork.

During the evening, as well as a three course Chinese dinner, guests enjoyed a selection of wines from Hush Heath vineyard, and each took home a goody bag filled with treats from sponsors of the event.
