More than 180 supporters of The West Kent Lord’s Taverners raised over £17,600 for the charity at the annual St George’s Day Lunch at the Spa Hotel in Tunbridge Wells. The guests were welcomed with traditional English songs sung by Becky Elliott before enjoying lunch. During the afternoon, there was also entertainment from Geoff Miller, former England Cricketer and selector, Adger Brown, comedian and auctioneer, soldiers of the Queen’s Gurkha Engineers who performed their famous Khukuri knife dance and some impressive drumming from the Trafalgar Drummers.
