In support of Save the Children, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford is launching a Christmas Jumper Truck on Friday 2nd December for one day only.
The charity has teamed up with Selfish Mother and some of the nation’s favourite top models to create a series of slogan sweatshirts in celebration of the day. McArthurGlen is supporting the cause with the launch of its Christmas Jumper Truck, a pop up hosting fundraising knitting events.
Blogger Molly Gunn, the brains behind the brand Selfish Mother and the #GoodTees initiative, has worked on the silly slogan sweatshirt designs with models including Poppy Delevingne, David Gandy, Jon Kortajarena, Karen Elson, Laura Bailey, Erin O’Connor and Immy Waterhouse.
Tenterden haberdashery Hoop will be bringing festive Knitmas Workshops to the Christmas Jumper Truck on Friday. Customers will be able to book in for an hour long session to create a knitted headband, with no previous knitting experience necessary and all materials included in the £5 cost of the class. Slots will be available from 11am – 2pm and 3pm – 6pm.
The limited edition sweater collection, available to purchase exclusively at Selfish Mother’s online store, ‘The FMLY Store’ will be available to McArthurGlen customers through an ‘honesty box’ donation at the truck, and 100% of all proceeds from additional public donations will go directly to Save the Children to help vulnerable children in the UK and across the world this Christmas.
