Sainsbury’s Sevenoaks donates toys to local charities & organisations

Sainsbury’s Sevenoaks has organised a collection and will donated toys to local charities & organisations.

The Christmas toy donation scheme is aimed at charities that will support children that are sick or have families that are struggling this Christmas. If you would like to donate toys we will be collecting in store from 20th November. You can leave your toy donations with the customer service desk.

Mind, Sevenoaks Hospital, local children in foster care and families who are struggling this Christmas will be presented with toys during the w/c 8/12/14 by Sainsbury’s Alison Brixton & Steve Almond.

Ian Howcroft said “This is a brilliant idea and we will hopefully be able to put smiles on children’s faces this Christmas. I am proud that we have such brilliant customers & colleagues who I know will donate toys to make this a success. It’s not just my store supporting this event this year but 22 stores from our region all giving toys to great charities.”
