Another retail outlet has closed its doors in Tunbridge Wells, leaving one more unit empty in the town.
GAME, a video game retailer which had been in the Royal Victoria Place shopping centre for many years has ceased trading, with a note on the door reading:
“Store closed. Sorry for the inconvenience.”
The retailer has confirmed the closure is permanent, meaning that there will be another vacant space. Since August, the BHS site opposite has been empty, but rumours that it’s set to become a Primark resurfaced recently when a comment on a Tunbridge Wells community Facebook group claimed that the retailer had been interviewing for positions in the store.
