The story everyone’s been discussing this month…
BIG CAT COMEBACK
It’s not the creature you’d expect to see when visiting Knole Park, but two years after it was first reported that visitors had spotted a black panther in the Sevenoaks grounds, it is believed to have returned.
Back in 2014, visitors of Knole said they had witnessed the animal strolling the woodland, but nobody was ever able to get close enough to confirm its identity. Now, however, people have begun to question whether the panther has returned, after walkers began discovering animal remains during their visits.
In recent weeks, two deer carcases have been found in two different areas of the park, with large paw prints spotted nearby. Witnesses claim these prints can’t belong to a fox or domestic cat as they are too large, leading them to believe the big cat may have made a comeback.
