Figures reveal 6% increase in roadworks around Kent

Figures show that an average of 253 roads are dug up across Kent every day of the week. That’s just over 92,000 sets of roadworks for motorists to negotiate, an increase of 6%.  The same figures reveal that many of the repairs are not finished on time with the county council collecting more than £620,000 in a two year period for late completion fines.
For the record: There are 1,050 roads in Tunbridge Wells Borough.
