‘Hever Castle Princesses’ compete in triathlon

For the first time, Hever Castle staff will be taking part in the Hever Castle Triathlon. The ‘Hever Castle Princesses’ are Anna Spender (swimming), Jane Bradley (cycling) and Sarah Lewis-James (running). They have entered in the triathlon relay sprint (400m swim/20km cycle/4km run) on Saturday 29th September.
The ‘Princesses’ are taking part to mark the first anniversary of Sarah’s breast cancer diagnosis and hope to raise £2,500 for the charity Breast Cancer Campaign.
Four other Castle staff have also been training hard over the summer months to compete in the triathlon. In the men’s team, Bradley Davies is swimming, Roland Smith, cycling, and Hever Castle’s Chief Executive Duncan Leslie will be running. Dan Webb, a keen sportsman and triathlete, is competing in the triathlon sprint.
Hever Castle offers competitors a stunning and inspirational race setting. Spectators coming along to support their family and friends can enjoy live music, hot air balloon rides, archery and discounted entry to the stunning castle and grounds.
