The Swinging Little Big Band present an uplifting & ingenious version of ‘The Three Belles’ beginning with a Deep South Blues / New Orleans vibe before launching into Glenn Miller inspired forties swing as The Three Belles take the vocal lines of Kirsty MacColl to new heights with sensational 3-part harmonies.
Tunbridge Wells band, The Swinging Little Big Band released their first single this Christmas ahead of their long-awaited album due for release next March.

Over the past 6 years The Swinging Little Big Band have established themselves as one of the most original & exciting swing acts in the country. Performing their unique blend of vintage Rat Pack classics alongside their own unique swing/jazz versions of contemporary songs – by the likes of The Strokes, The Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay & Oasis – re-arranged as jump jive, swing & salsa.
The past few years have seen the band perform at many of the UK’s most prestigious venues.
The single also features fabulous Andrews Sisters inspired close-harmony trio: The Three Belles, whose recent performances include Twinwood Festival, IOW Festival and their own stage show ‘Sing Sing Sing’ at the Stag Theatre, Sevenoaks.

The original version of Fairytale of New York by The Pogues, has received a surge in publicity this year as it celebrates the 25th anniversary of its release. Shane MacGowan (who wrote & sung the original), grew up in Tunbridge Wells.
