Local Hairdressing Salon, The Gallery, in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells has once again proved that they are the best of the best by winning the coveted title of Salon of the Year at the British Hairdressing Business Awards 2015.
The salon, which recently celebrated its 20th birthday, won the title last year and althoughthey were certainly hoping to win again, they didn’t expect it especially as they were up against very stiff nationwide competition including the Trevor Sorbie Salon in London.
There were screams of delight as their name was read out and the whole team descended on the stage to collect their award from host TV presenter Gethin Jones and Hairdresser’s Journal Editor-in-Chief, Jayne Lewis-Orr
Salon director Lorenzo Colangelo said “Oh my, we are overwhelmed! We really didn’t expect it to be us again this year. I have to thank my wonderful team as this award wouldn’t have been possible without their dedication and hard work. And of course to our wonderful clients who support all our activities and have helped us create such a wonderful and unique business”
The local salon is well known for all the activities that it gets their clients involved in from their annual Golf Day in support of the Variety Club of Great Britain with 50 of their top clients. The Southborough Cricket Club Sponsors Match, where the Gallery put in a team of staff and clients to raise money for the club; their newly formed ‘Gallery Old Boys’ five-a-side football team and a host of charity fund raising events for local causes like Bertie’s Battle.
