Now that summer is well and truly upon us, @goodfood_tw has handpicked five local hotspots for dining al fresco in June

Is it just me, or did it feel like winter outstayed its welcome this year? As much as I love the colder months, I’ve been ready for the long summer days to return since February! And with warmer weather comes the chance to enjoy some of the best food in the county in the great outdoors. From delightful cafés serving up tasty doorstop sandwiches, to countryside pubs with interesting and inventive takes on classic dishes, we’re extremely fortunate to live in an area full of excellent eateries with lovely outdoor spaces.
I hope that you enjoy your month and the recommendations that I’ve mentioned on this page!
