The Crafts for Christmas event sources talented makers and designers from across the UK and brings them together in the new exhibition hall on the Kent County Showground. This is a unique opportunity to find special presents for special people, the perfect place to work your way enjoyably through your Christmas list and indulge yourself!
The superb Kent Cookery School will be attending Crafts for Christmas again this year. Dan Kennedy, UK Seafood Champion and experienced Michelin star restaurant chef, will be demonstrating fabulous canapés for your festive entertaining. Fantastic tips and ideas to make your Christmas parties have a wow factor.
Entertainment this year is presented by The Lady Sings. Kerry Le Bern has a sultry jazz style, influenced by the great jazz divas Ella Fitgerald and Peggy Lee. She also relishes re-creating the vintage sounds of Doris Day and Patsy Cline as well as contemporary artists Imelda May and Caro Emerald.
This Art of Mine is a friendly, creative studio situated on an idyllic flower farm in the heart of the Kent countryside presenting craft workshops, parties, pottery and take-home kits. Visit their stand and have a go at a Christmas themed craft workshop – friendly and fun.
The Pressed Flower Guild promote the art and craft of pressed flowers, visit their stand to see a range of cards, pictures and gifts which magically turn real flowers into beautiful products. Our chosen charities for this years event are Guide Dogs for the Blind, Demelza Hospice Care for Children and The Jimmyboy Trust who raise funds to support the Cardiomyopethy Association.
