Business is booming for Kent’s green economy in spite of the recession

A review published by environmental think tank Green Alliance showed the Garden of England is among the leading counties for encouraging environmentally friendly business. The report, entitled Green Economy: A UK Success Story, indicates that Kent’s green economy will have grown by around 40% by 2014. According to County Councillor Mark Dance green sector employment in the county soared by 17% from 2008 to 2010, creating 3,700 jobs.
